Felix R. Pernilla November 20, 1945 - August 8, 2019

Haverhill – Felix R. Pernilla, 73, husband of Rosa (Mejia) Pernilla, passed away August 8, 2019 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, he was the son of the late Emilio and Albertina (Fuentes) Rivera. He has been the Pastor for over 10 years at Iglesia de Cristo Elim in Methuen. Felix was known for his strong faith and enjoyed reading the bible and listening to Christian music. He liked to travel back to Guatemala to visit family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his loving wife Rosa, he is survived by his children, Sergio Pernilla and his wife Tracey (Roche) of Haverhill; Sandra P. Quiroa and her husband Jorge of Haverhill; Samuel Pernilla and his wife Grethel of Los Angeles, CA; seven grandchildren, David, Jonathan, Abby, Sofia, Alexis, Aaron and Pablo; eight siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, August 11 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Monday morning at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford.     Siento tanto no poder estar con la familia de mi amado Pastor Rolando Pernilla pues para mi y mi familia fue de gran bendición este varón de Dios en nuestras vidas. Lo que llena mi corazón y me da satisfacción es que el Grande está con ellos acompañándolos y fortaleciendo sus vidas en estos momentos de dolor, pero gloria a Dios nuestro hermano se nos adelantó y un día estaremos todos allá. Mucha fortaleza a su familia. Los amo en el amor del Señor, Amen.
