Haverhill – John R. Butts, Jr., husband of the late Linda (Moulton) passed away August 8, 2021 At Genesis Healthcare in Wakefield.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John R. Butts and Barbara M. (Dunn) Bednar. Raised and educated in Chelsea, he was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1976. John was employed as a Plater at EPI in Newburyport. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time camping and canoeing. John also enjoyed cruising in his car. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

John in survived by his son, Jeffrey Butts of Haverhill; his sisters, Cindy Welch, who lost her husband Frank on July 31, of Haverhill and Stacey Bednar also of Haverhill; brothers, Henry Butts and his wife Lisa of Danvers and Stanley Bednar and his partner Sue Souther of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a calling hour on Wednesday, August 11 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.     Dear Cindy – I was so sad to hear about Jack passing away. You know I loved him! He made me laugh all the time. I can’t imagine how you are dealing with all this loss in your life right now. Just know that I will pray for you as you go through this very difficult time. Hang in there Cindy!
