Haverhill – Stanley P. Liszewski, 68, husband of Deborah L. (Martel) Liszewski, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 4, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Alfred P. and Joanne (Hamel) Liszewski. Raised in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1972. Stanley was employed as a Tester with Lucent Technologies. He also worked at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home in Haverhill and the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home in Clinton, where he was well loved. Stanley had many interests, including swimming and cleaning his pool daily, maintaining his beautiful home and enjoyed gardening. He inherited his green thumb from his grandmother, Catherine Liszewski. Stanley always saw the beauty in the simple things in life. His family asks those who love him to carry on his love of nature, family and spirituality. Stanley will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Deborah, he is survived by his children, Jason Liszewski of Haverhill and Kristen Flannery and her husband Brian of Middleboro; his brother, Steven Liszewski and his husband Corey Hsu of Boston; and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, grandmother Dorothy Hamel, uncle Donald Hamel and aunt Shirley Dietriek.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, March 12 from 3:30PM until 5:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Liz Murphy Food Pantry, 16 Ashland St., Haverhill, MA 01830. March 9, 2022 at 8:13 pmI never got the chance to meet Stanley in person, but he’d frequently comment on my Facebook posts. Really a kind soul. Would give me grief when I ate at restaurants outside of Haverhill and always beeped at me in his A5. Even tried to convince me to buy an S5. Always brought humor and warmth even as I knew him on social media. He will truly be missed.

I’ll always remember the time we all went to dinner for his birthday. After dinner we went back to the car he put the cake on the seat then sat on it. I’ve known Stan since coming to Haverhill 17 years ago when he came into my barbershop for the first Time. Truly a wonderful man with a great sense of humor will sorely miss you my friend.

I had hoped to attend Stan’s Wake yesterday, but with weather/ driving issues, was disappointed not to make it. Both Carlos and I have such fond memories of talking with Stan and you. Carlos enjoyed painting part of your home for you guys and Stan meant so much to Gillian. Every since I heard of his passing, I have been seeing his face and remembering how warm and friendly he always was to us. I have been thinking about him and both of you guys. Losing someone so abruptly like that is not easy and my thoughts are with you. Stan’s wonderful spirit, friendliness and warmth is what I feel inside when I think of him. I will miss seeing him around when I visit Gillian. I hope Stan’s spirit is experiencing a special peaceful and pain free place in Heaven and the Universe right now. I also hope you can feel his positive, spiritual presence around you helping you to cope and know that he is with you and that he is ok. Both Carlos and I will miss seeing and talking with him. Take care of yourself now and I look forward to seeing you around when I visit Gillian.
