Haverhill- Grace M. (McGonagle) Purdy 93, passed away March 1, 2022 peacefully at her home in Haverhill.
Born in Winchester she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary (Doherty) McGonagle. Grace raised her family in Woburn, Medford and Malden, where she worked as a hairdresser for many years. Grace moved to Plum Island, Newburyport in the early 70’s to be near the ocean, and some of her children and grandchildren. Grace then moved to Haverhill in 2008 where she was very active at her local parish St. John the Baptist Church and attended every Saturday Mass. Grace will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Grace is survived by her daughter Dawn Purdy of Haverhill; and her grandchildren, Renee and family of Grafton, Ma., Jennifer and family of Amesbury, Ma., Daniel and family of Tampa Florida, and Derek of New Hampshire; and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children Albert, Deborah, Diann and Joseph.
