Haverhill- Walter Sanchez Sr., 55 passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 31, 2022.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Hector L. Sanchez and Judith Torres (Pizarro) of Puerto Rico. He came to New York with his family where he was raised and attended Walton High School in the Bronx and after graduation attending Apex Technical School.
Walter was known to be a ‘jack of all trades’ and owned his own business, Trooper Services LLC., installing flooring, sheet rocking and plastering for many years throughout the Merrimack Valley area. He loved going to Salisbury Beach and playing in the arcades and he always had such a great sense of humor. His competitive and playful side was shown through gaming with his children and nephews on their Xbox. Walter’s most loved times were spent organizing his barbecues with his family and friends. He was a great friend to all who knew him and was loved by many. Walter will be greatly missed by all; family, friends, nieces and nephews.
Walter is survived by his two sons; Walter A. Sanchez Jr. and Gabriel Sanchez both of Haverhill; his siblings Madeline Pizarro of New York NY, Hector Luis Sanchez of Bronx NY, Maria J. (Pizarro) Sanchez of Lynn MA, Orlando Pizarro Sanchez of Haverhill; his two grandchildren Adriana Sanchez and Legacy Sanchez; his mother Judith Torres Pizarro of Bronx NY and his grandmother Anna Blanca (Pizarro) Torres of Florida. Walter is predeceased by his brother German Luis Sanchez.
