Victoria Sanchez, 85 April 26, 1938 - June 3, 2023

HAVERHILL, MA – Victoria Sanchez, 85, of Haverhill, MA, died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 3 surrounded by loving family.

Victoria was born on April 26, 1938 in Campechuela, Ciudad en Granma, Cuba to Paula Torres-Vega. Victoria immigrated from Cuba to Jamaica with her husband of over 50 years, Atanacio Sanchez, and then they came together to the U.S. in 1969. She worked for many years at Davco Inc. as a stitcher, and also at the Haverhill Manor as a housekeeper. She enjoyed going shopping, caring for her trees and was a great cook; her staple was her rice pudding. Victoria was selfless, always thinking of others before herself, and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Victoria is survived by her children Paula Sanchez, Haverhill, Isabel Sanchez and Ariel, Haverhill, Luciano Sanchez & Wendy, Haverhill, Diomede Sanchez and Martha, Franklin, NH; she is also survived by her sister Alcibiada Cedeno, Cuba, and brothers Nicholas Torres-Vega, Cuba, and Eutimio Torres-Vega, Cuba; and grandchildren Jennifer, Justin, Joshua, Barbara, Yesenia, Lyndsey, Jamie, and Ericka; and great-grandchildren Mia and Diego.

Victoria was predeceased by her grandson Andrew.
