Haverhill – Valerie A. (Gauthier) Boudreau, 71, of Bradford, partner of thirty years to Donald Smith, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill after a courageous battle with A.L.S.
Born in Kittery, ME she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Gauthier and Joyce I. Kyle and step daughter of Sharon Gauthier of Milan, NH. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1971.

She loved enjoying beach days and spending that time relaxing always with her chair in the water and toes in the sand. Picking out seeds and working in her garden always brought a smile to her face. Most importantly was spending time with her family and friends doing anything but especially doing something for the “first time ever in her whole life”. She was a strong and honorable woman and certainly one of a kind. She touched the lives of those who knew her in so many ways. Her boundless affection for everyone will always be cherished in our hearts.
