David Ramos Vasquez, 73

David Ramos Vasquez, 73, of Haverhill, died Friday, January 29 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital after being stricken ill suddenly at home.
Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late, Juan Vasquez and Felicita Ramos. He was educated in Puerto Rico and has resided in Haverhill since1976.
Mr. Vasquez has worked as a laborer in local manufacturing facilities for many years. He enjoyed boxing and in his younger years he was a feared pugilist. He loved music, dancing and spending time with family.
He leaves his beloved partner of over twenty years, Janice Rettig, daughters, Ruth Canales, and Nora Baez, a son, Fernando Vazquez, all of Haverhill, a brother, Juan Vazquez, of PR, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service on Tuesday, February 2, at 2:00 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. www.comeaufuneral.com
