      Helen E.(Watts) Hein, 81

HAVERHILL, MA

Helen E.(Watts) Hein, 81, of Haverhill, died Wednesday, February 13, at Penacook Place in Haverhill after a lengthy illness.

Born in Malden on May 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late, Francis and Alice (Tucker) Watts. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1946.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mrs. Hein was employed in production at the former A T & T / Lucent Technologies in North Andover for over twenty years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America, and the First Presbyterian Church in Haverhill.

An avid walker, she also enjoyed a game of cards and playing shuffleboard.

She leaves a son, Malcolm E. Hein, Jr. and daughter in law, Sharon, of Haverhill, three daughters, Alice L. Cooper, of Bradford, Sally A. Casey and her husband Paul G., of Sandown, NH, Jo-Anne Dennis and her husband William D., of Groveland, grandchildren, Sara and Tova Cooper, Jonathan, Melissa, and Michael Dennis, Olivia Casey, and Theodora and Juliana Hein, great grandchildren, Ivelisse, Iliana, and Ixavier Pabon, three brothers and their wives, Henry and Marjorie Watts, of Atkinson, NH, Roger and Carol Watts, of Danvers, and Donald and Barbara Watts, of Saugus, a sister, Joan McAuliffe, of Haverhill, several nieces and nephews, and best friend, Pat Amersdorfer. She was predeceased by siblings, Frank Watts, Glorya Bourassa, Joyce Hein, and Jean Gillen.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Graveside Funeral Services and burial will be held on May 22, 2010 in the family lot at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill, a reception in her honor will follow.
