Bradford – Ralph A. Iasimone, 85, husband of June M. (Shugrue) Iasimone, passed away July 1, 2017 at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Frances L. (Orlandella) Iasimone. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill High School. Ralph served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He worked in the shoe industry at Knipe Shoe in Haverhill for many years. Ralph also worked at the Haverhill Paperboard Company and was also a crossing guard at the Nettle School. He was a member of the Sons of Italy, the Garibaldi Club, the Lorraine Post VFW and the Haverhill Rod and Gun Club. Ralph enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, four wheeling and camping with his family. He was a generous, kind and happy man who loved spending time with family and friends at many family gatherings.


In addition to his loving wife June of sixty three years, he is survived by his children Ralph A. Iasimone and his wife Sheilah of Avon; Lisa M. Iasimone-Jones of Haverhill; a sister, Marie A. Greenwood and her husband Larry A. of Haverhill; five grandchildren, Matthew Iasimone, Madelaine Iasimone, Megan Scanlon, Tiffany Simione, Ashley Jones; two great grandchildren, Sophia and Aubrey; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Louise Pierce.


Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 5 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Thursday morning at 9:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Parish, 48 South Chestnut Street, Bradford.
