David was born in Haverhill on November 29, 1954 and was the son of Patricia (Mahoney) Reynolds of Haverhill.

David was born and raised in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1972. After high school he began working as a quality control technician for several companies and most recently Draeger Medical Company. He enjoyed playing softball in Haverhill leagues with friends, playing racquetball with his best friend and wife of 42 years, along with being the “voice of the Timberlane Owls” high school football team. He was a caring father, and he will always be “Grampy” to the most precious granddaughter Ellie. He always had a deep appreciation for music as an avid concert goer, making mixtape CD’s for loved ones, and an expert of music trivia.  His love for the beach was evident through family vacations at Salisbury Beach, weekend beach trips, and living by the beach for the past 14 years.  He was the caretaker of his loved ones, enjoyed cooking for his family, and hosting family and friends throughout all life events.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his beloved wife Marcia Mahoney. He was the father of Ryan D. Mahoney and his wife Lynne of North Reading. He was the brother of Bruce J. Reynolds and his wife Jody of Freemont, NH. He was the brother-in-law of Michael G. Grandmaison and his wife Ann Marie of Danvers, Donna J. Rose and her husband Francis of SC. He was the cherished grandfather of Ellie Mahoney. He was predeceased his brother-in-law George F. Grandmaison.
