Rene A. Lambert, 79 February 11, 1943 - January 28, 2023

Rene A. Lambert, 79, of Haverhill, died on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Rene was born in Haverhill on February 11, 1943 and was the son of the late Adrian and Antoinette F. (Mourey) Lambert.

Rene was raised in South Groveland and attended Pentucket Regional High School. After high school he joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era. He was stationed in Germany where he met his wife, Margit (Fischer). After serving, he worked as an assembly supervisor for 35 years at Western Electric which became AT@T and later retired from Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed winters in Florida and traveling in their RV, motorcycling, and going to the casinos. He loved Christmas parties and having his family and friends over. He was a loving husband, father grandfather and great-grandfather, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Rene was the beloved husband of Margit (Fischer) Lambert. He was the loving father of Marcelle Wood and her husband Karl of Bradford, Stefan Lambert and his wife Aldina of Leesburg, Va. He was the brother of the late Denise Roumeliotis and the late Marcelle Riley. He was the cherished grandfather of Kristen Lambert, Brian Lambert, Mackenzie Lambert and Stephen Wood, and great-grandfather of Shawn, Ella, Cole, Ayla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
