Adolia “Dodie” (Fish) Apt November 8, 1938 - June 10, 2020

Bradford – Adolia “Dodie” Apt, 81, of Haverhill, formerly of Brownfield, ME, passed away peacefully at the Prescott House on the evening of June 10th.

Dodie was born in Newburyport and grew up in Salisbury, where she met her husband, raised four children, and enjoyed a life rich with friends and laughter on Ring’s Island. In retirement she moved with her husband to Brownfield, ME, where the two lived for many years and were familiar, friendly faces to vacationers at the Burnt Meadow Campground. Before leaving Maine, Dodie was devoted and passionate about her flea market stand at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds.

Dodie was predeceased by her husband Elwood K Apt, Sr, and sons Michael Apt and Elwood K Apt, Jr; and her sister Melissa Miller; and her parents Harry and Eleanor Fish. In her passing she leaves behind her children , Fred and his wife Ruth Apt of Brownfield, ME; Carole and her husband Michael McCay, of Greenland, NH ; and Jeanne and her late husband Joseph Graham of Haverhill, MA; “Brat Nana” to ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service has been arranged with a Celebration of Life planned for a later date.
