Alban J. Gallant May 2, 1923 - August 1, 2019

Haverhill – Alban J. Gallant, 96, of Haverhill, formerly of Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada, passed away on Thursday, August 1 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.        Born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late, Edouard and Aurelie (Richard) Gallant. He came to Haverhill at the age of 30, 66 years ago. He was employed as a laborer at the manufacturing mills in Lawrence for his entire career. A man of strong faith; he was a parishioner of St. Anne’s Parish in Lawrence. He enjoyed a simple lifestyle and appreciated a good meal. A devoted husband, he was married for 61 years when he lost his wife, Marguerite (Allen) Gallant in March of 2013.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews including his caregiver; Roberta Alicata, of Haverhill, Joanne Blalock, of Aiken, SC, and Elaine and her husband Carmen Ciardello, of Pensacola, FL. He was predeceased by his sister Sr. Therese Gallant.                                                                                                                    T
