July 25, 2022 at 8:23 pmI had the pleasure of working beside Andy at the Post Office for many years. Andy was one of the friendliest coworkers there. After his retirement I would often see him walking on my mail route and got to chat with him on occasion. He will be sadly missed by my wife Mary-Ellen and I.

August 5, 2022 at 2:48 amI never knew his name but he certainly remembered my family…25 years (or more) after I moved out of my family’s home on So. Kimball St. in Bradford. I saw him walking one day and exchanged smiles. I asked him if he was ever a mail carrier because he looked so familiar to me. His reply was remarkable to me. He didn’t say yes or no, he just asked me for my street and house # and he said oh yes, the Turcotte family! I was floored!
As I said at the beginning, I never knew his name. I do remember him fondly with his friendly smile and his “Ha-cha-cha-cha-chas”!
May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort in knowing that he was a well-liked man who will be remembered fondly!
