LAWRENCE – Bonnie Jean (Olivera) Smith, 56, of Lawrence, died on Sunday, July 23 at Lawrence General Hospital.

Bonnie was born in Lawrence on June 11, 1967 to Donald R. and Kathleen F. (Olivera) Smith.  She attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1985. Bonnie had a great sense of humor, enjoyed going to the beach, and taking care of her dog Dukey, and cats Tippy, Tudey, and Dit Ta Tee.  She was a great cook and loved Christmas and celebrating the holidays. Bonnie was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved making memories with her family.

Bonnie is survived by her long time partner of 36 years Victor Faria of Lawrence, her daughter Desiree Smith of Haverhill, and her son David Smith of Lawrence. She also leaves behind her brothers Jeffrey Smith of Haverhill and Donald R. Smith of Haverhill; and grandchildren Mariah Smith, Kayla Smith and Skyler Jellow-Smith and great grandchild Levi Smith. Bonnie was predeceased by her son Joseph Smith and her sister Tracie Smith.
