Clifford A. Peters July 16, 1958 - June 12, 2020

Haverhill – Clifford A. Peters, 61, husband of Nancy (Porter) Peters, passed away June 12, 2020 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Elaine (Cloyd) Peters. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill Trade School. He was the proprietor and owner of Cliff Peters Heating and he worked for the Haverhill Housing Authority. He taught HVAC at night school at Whittier Tech. Cliff loved all things outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, camping, boating, snowmobiling, four wheeling and had a love for life. He travelled north to the White Mountains and always enjoyed stopping at Calef’s Country Store on the way. Cliff also enjoyed cookouts with family and friends, getting burgers from Skip’s in Merrimac, and watching the Boston Bruins, his favorite sporting team. Cliff was a family man and was a devoted husband, father and “Bampa” who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his loving wife Nancy, he is survived by his children, Krystal Peters of Waterboro, ME; Valerie Peters of Atkinson, NH; and his niece, who he took part in raising, Barbara Seay and her husband Maurice of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Rayla Elaine and Lyra Pearl Peters; brothers, James Peters and his wife Louise of Plaistow, NH; Robert Peters of Merrimac; sisters, Cynthia Peters, Pamela Pearson, Sheila Belmer, all of Haverhill and Linda Monroe and her husband Robert of Dover, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
