HAVERHILL – Cynthia J. Bumford, 69, formally of Lawrence, died on Wednesday, August 9 at the Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Haverhill.
Cynthia was born in Lawrence to Norman and Marion (Slater) Bumford. She was raised and educated in Lawrence public schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1971. Cynthia was a good neighbor and a homebody, but also enjoyed her job at Merrimack College, shopping and going out to eat with her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving sister and aunt by those she leaves behind.
Cynthia is survived by her brother Donald Bumford, of Maine, and sisters Norma and her husband John Silva, of Methuen, Linda Hargrieve, of Methuen, and Carol Rapaglia, of Lawrence. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
