Haverhill – Daniel D.W. Tufts, 67, husband of Pamela (Rowinski) Tufts, passed away August 12, 2022 at Penacook Place in Haverhill with his loving family by his side.

Born in Amesbury, he was the son of the late William and Phyllis (Gordon) Tufts. Raised in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1974. He was known for his hard work and dedication to his job. For many years he worked for Humboldt Storage and Moving of Canton and was retired. Daniel was a big NASCAR fan, traveled to many tracks including Daytona and enjoyed watching the races on television. He was a New England Patriots fan and loved river and pond fishing. Daniel was devoted family man, husband father and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife Pamela, Daniel is survived by his children, Joseph Tufts and his wife Nancy of Londonderry, NH and Katie Bender and her husband Christopher of Merrimack, NH; brothers, Brian Tufts and his wife Cheryl of Chichester, NH, Denis Tufts of Haverhill and Allan Lowes, Judith Christian and her husband Robert of Plaistow, NH and Jill Gauthier of Hampstead, NH; grandchildren, Austin Barnes, Dillon Tufts, Joseph Tufts and Ellie Bender; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 18 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A prayer service will be held following calling hours. Donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
