Diane Lee Fitzgerald, 49, passed away December 12, 2022 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Sargent) Fitzgerald. Raised in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Whittier Tech, Class of 1991. Diane was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Brigham Manor Health and Rehab in Newburyport. She loved to shop and was known as a fashionable woman. She enjoyed crafting, singing, dancing and taking road trips with her family. A devoted mother to her children, She had a big heart and wanted to help everyone she could. Diane leaves her soul mate of 23 years, Daniel Romaniello. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Diane is survived by her loving daughter Shantel Cruz and her husband Ezequiel of Methuen; her three loving sons, Julius, Deyani and Armani Romaniello, all of Haverhill; her soul mate and partner Daniel Romaniello Jr. of Haverhill; brother Robert F. Fitzgerald Jr. and his wife Ami of Haverhill and sister Heather Teal of Haverhill; three grandchildren, Lianah, Janiyah and Ezra; nephews, Robert, Cam, Walter, Tyler and Matthew, who were like sons to her; and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Cheryl Fitzgerald and Wendy Teal.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 18 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
