Haverhill – Dorothy J. (Snow) Warren, 85, wife of the late James L. Warren, passed away December 19, 2021 at Boston Medical Center.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine I. (Weiner) Snow. Raised in Lynn, she attended Lynn schools. Dorothy was the proprietor of In Home Daycare, a profession she loved dearly. She raised her 10 children and always found the time to help all the other children in the neighborhood. If she found a child that needed clothing she was the first person to step in and provide them with whatever they needed. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she decorated her home to the fullest. A big collector of the Dickens Villages, her entire dining room was transported back in that era with houses, shops, streets, lighting and characters. Every child, grandchild and great grandchild had their own handmade ornament for the Christmas tree. Dorothy attended all of the sporting events for all her family. With her great sense of humor, she was witty and silly at times, always clowning around. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Linda M. Mazza and her husband Charles A. of Kingston, NH, Laurence J. Warren and his wife Donna of Exeter, NH, Cheryl A. Dawidowicz and her fiancé Dimitri DiCicco of Haverhill, Tammy J. Copeland and her husband Jeffrey of Sandown, NH, Lori A. Warren of Skaneateles, NY, Jodi M. Gregoire and her husband Shawn M. of Chelmsford, Holli D. Dallon and her husband Mark S. of Kingston NH, Jami L. Wallett and her husband Jamie M. of Haverhill, James A. Warren and his wife Alexandra E. of No. Andover; twenty five grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Diane L . Warren and granddaughter Stacy. A Warren, and great grand-daughter Alexsus R. Warren.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Donations may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Please visit Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook or www.comeaufuneral.com
