Haverhill – Dorothy M. (Sheehan) Yacubacci, passed away August 11, 2021 in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late William “Dixie” and Eva (Reeves) Sheehan. She attended St. James Grammar School and was a graduate of St. James High School. She also attended Merrimac College where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree. Dorothy was employed as an analyst for the Internal Revenue Service. A woman of very strong catholic faith, she was most happy being home and spending time with her loving family. She enjoyed gardening, loved animals and especially enjoyed many summers spent at Seabrook Beach where the whole family gathered yearly at the Franklin Street, Cottage. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dorothy is survived by her children, W. Gary Yacubacci, Jr. of Haverhill; Ann Marie Holbrook and her husband Jeffrey of Amesbury; Brian Yacubacci and his wife Doreen of Groveland; Daniel Yacubacci of Haverhill; eight grandchildren, Corino Yacubacci, Samantha Holbrook, Holly Holbrook, Victoria Holbrook, Brian Yacubacci, Jr., Angelina Yacubacci, Daniel Yacubacci, Jr. and Cassidy Yacubacci; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Sheehan and William Sheehan and her sister Maureen Curtin.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, August 16 from 4:00PM until 6:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 6:60PM. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Vincent DePaul of St. James, 185 Winter Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
