Edwin Padro March 14, 1930 - December 8, 2021

Haverhill – Edwin Padro, 91, passed away after a short illness December 8, 2021 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan Padro and Julia Pagan. Edwin attended school in Puerto Rico and worked on farms there before coming to Chicago in 1947. From there he moved to Reading, Pa where he worked in a hotel. He then lived in Haverhill and Lawrence until 1978, before moving his family to Miami, FL. He then moved back to Haverhill where he lived until hhis passing. Edwin was a taxi driver in Lawrence and drove a bus for Community Action in Haverhill. He loved pond fishing, watching sports, especially baseball and football. Devoted to his family, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Edwin will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Edwin is survived by his children, Emma Padro of Hudson, NH; Nancy Moya and her husband Juan of Haverhill; Martza Padro of Haverhill; Elsa Padro of New Bedford; Olga Bowby and her husband Steven of Tewksbury; Kevin Padro and his wife Susan of Norfolk, VA; and Edwin Padro, Jr. of Puerto Rico; twelve grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Angel Padro, Anna Padro, Lydia Padro and Margo Padro; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by many siblings in Puerto Rico.
