Haverhill – Ernest J. Grieco, 73, husband of Veronica M. (Jackson) Grieco, passed away July 30, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Methuen, he was the son of the late Peter R. and Anna V. (Ventrillo) Grieco. Raised in Lawrence, he attended Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1964. Ernest was employed as a metal fabricator with Northeast Lab, a baker in the food service industry and worked at the Yum Yum Shop. He loved sports, especially football and baseball, all kinds of music and slow dancing. Ernest was a fan of the Three Stooges and enjoyed hanging at the beach. Motorcycles and his Harley Davidson were a passion for him. He traveled to Mexico and loved his time spent there. Ernest was a dad to many in need and always had an open door policy to those that needed help. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Ernest will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Veronica, he is survived by his children, Jeffrey Grieco of Derry, NH; Nathaniel Noyes; Nicholas Noyes and Kristy Beauregard of Pepperell; Jennifer Sanzo and her husband Rodney of Clarksville, TN; Kimberly Cerullo of Haverhill; grandchildren, Jacob Grieco, Alayna Grieco, Jonathan Labonville, Novaly Labonville, Nicholas Noyes, Jr., Topanga LaBonville and Adriana Beauregard; brother, Ralph Grieco of Derry, NH; sisters, Madelyn Thorburn of Haverhill and Cathy Morris and her husband David; and several nieces and nephews; Algenis Diaz, who was loved like his own son.

Everyone will miss his sweet generous personality, I’m sure. I never heard an unkind word come out of his mouth in all the years I’ve known him. Rest in Peace, Ernie!!
