Haverhill – Genevieve J. (McFarland) Dennis, 65, passed away December 11, 2021 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Exeter, NH, she was the daughter of Kenneth J. McFarland, Sr. and the late Alice M. (Edwards) McFarland. Raised and educated in Chester, New Hampshire she attended Raymond Consolidated High School, Class of 1974 and Northern Essex Community College. Genevieve was employed at Hadco Circuit Boards, A.J. LeBlanc and H & R Block. She was an avid reader and loved all the Harry Potter books. Genevieve also enjoyed crocheting, baking and loved the color purple. She lived in Haverhill for the last 30 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Genevieve is survived by her longtime companion Guy Gonyer of Haverhill; her father, Kenneth McFarland Sr, of Chester, VA, her children John W. Dennis of Salisbury and Angelica L. Gonyer of Haverhill; grandchildren, Nicholas Dennis, Jenna Dennis, Kara Kornacki, Lexi Kornacki, Abel Dennis and Zoe Dennis; brothers, Kenneth McFarland Jr. of Raymond, NH and Ted McFarland of Derry, NH; sisters Tammy Porter and her husband Thomas of Chester, NH; Rose Heckbert and her husband Brian of Derry, NH; Cindy Stiles and her husband Jim of Manchester, NH; and Patty McFarland of Derry, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, December 17 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
