Groveland – Gertrude “Trudy” Ann (Middleton) Ciaburri, wife of the late Richard T. Ciaburri passed away September 20, 2021 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.

Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Cecilia (Walker) Middleton. She met her husband when they were still teenagers and would have been married 72 years on September 24. They lived in Groveland for 57 years and made many wonderful and lifelong friends. Trudy worked many years as a Nurse’s Aide at the former Hale Hospital in Haverhill and at the age of 43 attended and graduated from the Nursing Program at Whittier Voc Tech in Haverhill, obtaining her LPN in 1974. With her husband Richard, she spent winters for 12 years in Naples, Florida, where they made many friends. She also enjoyed trips throughout New England. Trudy took pride in her home and was an immaculate woman with perfection and thoughtfulness in everything she did. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Gayle F. Bilapka and her husband Edward of Merrimac; Dawn Marie Shay and her husband Timothy of Rowley; Susan Ciaburri of Groveland; grandchildren, Kristen and Stewart Hall, Danyel Cote and Ian Shaw, Richard White and fiancé` Stephanie Jackson, Mathew White and Gerilyn Fergola, Chad and Christine Callan, Mia and Christopher Lyons, Keith and Candice Ciaburri, Brian and Christine Robinson, Cote McMinoway; great grandchildren, Cash Hall, Gage Senter, Akiera McCarty, Luzian Shaw, Kayla White, Isabella White, Alex Nawrocki, Laura Callan, Isabella Callan, Chad Callan Jr., Everlyn Callan, Theodore Callan, Emma Lyons, Cameron Ciaburri, Grace Ciaburri, Cecilia McMinoway; her sisters, Anne Sperlinga, Marylou O’Keefe and Claire Linan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother William Middleton, sisters Kathleen O’Hearn and Barbara Biagiotti.
