HAVERHILL – Gloria M. (Colantonio) DiMattia, 95, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 12 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Gloria was born in Haverhill on February 25, 1928 to Anthony and Nancy (Fasulo) Colantonio. She was raised Catholic and attended St. Joseph’s Grammar School and then Haverhill High School, graduating Class of 1946. Gloria worked as a quality control inspector in the shoe industry and later for Lucent Technologies. She loved traveling to Lauderdale by the Sea in Florida, spending time at Hampton Beach with her loving and faithful husband Philip.
Gloria is survived by her daughter Elisa DiMattia and partner Michael Lorenzo, Haverhill, a brother Richard Colantonio, Danville NH and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Philip P. DiMattia.
ARRANGEMENTS – Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 21 from 11AM until 12:30PM followed by a funeral service at 12:30PM at the Kevin B.
