Haverhill – Isidro Vargas Bourdier 79, passed away March 19, 2019 at Lawrence General Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born in Sabana del Puerto, Bonao, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Angel Vargas and Mercedes Bourdier. When immigrating to the United States, he went to Brooklyn, NY where he worked in the textile mills. In 1986, he moved to Haverhill and was employed with Fantini Bakery where he worked until his retirement in 2009. Isidro loved his native country and enjoyed spending time at the Fula River in the Dominican Republic. He loved music and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Isidro will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Isidro is survived by the mother of his children Rosa Amelia Vargas Rodriguez, his loving children, Rosaline Anavisca and her husband Leonardo; Andres Orlando Vargas and his wife Veronica Peña-Vargas; Poligena Rubia McLaughlin and her husband Eric; Eduardo Vargas; Augustin Vargas and his wife Belkis; Antia Vargas and her husband Jorge Perez; Odalis Vargas; and Isimely Dominguez and her husband Danny, all of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Jacob Anavisca, Abraham Anavisca, Andres Vargas and his wife Rikelma Vargas, Pablo Vargas, Gabriela Vargas, Marcos and Isaiah McLaughlin, Elizabeth Vargas, Emmanuelle Vargas, Anna Laura Vargas, Rosa Martinez and her husband Alex Reynoso, Cynthia Martínez, Anabel Perez, Amelia Perez, Jasmin Amadis, Noelia Amadis, Daniel Jesus Dominguez and Rosa Marie Dominguez; great grandchildren,Gabriel Rosario, Sophia Miller, and Dahlia Reynoso.
