EAST BOSTON – James F. Sullivan, 82, of East Boston, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with lung disease.
James was born in Boston on November 9, 1940 to James and Emily Sullivan. One of five children, he was “Brother”, the baby boy to his four sisters, Joyce, Dorothy, Sarah, and Verna.
James was predeceased by his wife Ruth Sullivan. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Deborah and Alex Larkin, of Florida, Danielle and Nicholas Internicola of Saugus, Jaymie Sullivan-Ellard of East Boston, and Jill Sullivan of East Boston. James’ legacy will live on in his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His sisters, Joyce Sullivan of East Boston and Sarah Bartolo of Everett predeceased him, he is survived by his sisters, Dorothy A. DeGruttola of Saugus and Verna A. Sullivan of East Boston.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service at Saint Joseph-Saint Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
