John Coito February 4, 1955 - November 29, 2019

Haverhill – John Coito, 64, passed away November 29, 2019 at his home in Haverhill.

Born in Bad Nauheim, Germany, he was the son of  Marie (Birkenstock) Coito and the late John Coito. At the age of 5, John moved to the United States with his family, settling in New Jersey. They then moved to the Merrimack Valley area and was raised in Newton NH, where he was a graduate of Sanborn Regional High School, Class of 1973. John was a handyman who could fix anything, doing odd jobs and was the owner of JC Construction for many years. A talented mechanic, he loved to work on cars and was fond of watching drag racing. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his children, John Coito of Derry, NH; Jeremy Coito of Haverhill; Jason Coito of Plaistow, NH; Joshua Coito of Haverhill; his sisters, Debra Coito of Dracut; Cathy Coito of Barnstead, NH; Barbara Coito of Hillsboro, NH; five grandchildren, Maryjane Marie Coito, Ben Coito, Ashley Coito, Emily Coito and Sarah Coito; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Coito.

    My deepest sympathy and condolences to John’s family and friends. John was my childhood friend in Newton NH as we grew up and went to Sanborn with same classes. John was fun daring and a good friend. Fishing snowmobiling walking the tracks was a few of the many things we enjoyed. Military Service and many years passed by in a blink of an eye.
