Haverhill – John V. Nguyen, 53, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with his loving family by his side.
John is the son of late-Binh Vấn Nguyen, father, and Hoa Thi Nguyen, mother. He is remembered through his wife of 30 wonderful years, Jennifer Nguyen; his 3 daughters, Kelly, Emily, Cindy, and his son; Matthew. His sisters, Bīnh Nguyen, Loan Nguyen, Bich Nguyen, Kathy Nguyen. His brothers; Binh Nguyen, Phe Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Chinh Nguyen, along with many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
Although he was born in Vietnam, he spent the majority of his life residing in Haverhill, Massachusetts building his life with his wife and family. He worked for Central Metal Finishing for over 30 years.
John had a passion for his pets, which included his several tropical fishes and birds, and also for gardening. His smile lit up the room when he’d come running in showing everyone what he successfully grew. He taught his children to live life full of laughter, no regrets, and settle for nothing less than what they deserved. He was anything they needed and wanted him to be and more; a relentless supporter, comedian, chef. He played the roles with pride and confidence. His heart was as big as his smile and his family was always put first. He was a wonderful man and a fearless leader that never hesitated to help those in need, when help was needed his hand would already be there.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 15 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
