Derry, NH – Joseph R. Maddocks, 53, passed away at the Oxford Nursing Home in Haverhill on September 2, 2019 with his loving family by his side.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Walter M. Maddocks, Jr. and Adele I. (St.Cyr) Tragiou. Educated in Plaistow, NH, he was a graduate of Timberlane High School, Class of 1984. Joseph was employed with Waste Management for many years. Known for his great sense of humor, he was a devoted family man, hardworking, who loved spending time with his family, especially his adored grandchildren. Joseph was a movie buff and a big fan of NASCAR. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Joseph is survived by his children, David W. Maddocks and his wife Bridget of Kyle, TX; Krystal M. Maddocks of Haverhill; his brother, Walter W. “Butch” Maddocks and Barbara Kaffel of Northwood, NH; his sister, Beatrice A. Morehouse and her husband Robert L. of Derry, NH; his stepbrother, George Tragiou of Haverhill; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Shawn M. Nagle.
