Haverhill – On August 8, 2019, Juan Cedeno Garcia of Haverhill lost a long battle of complications resulting from cancer treatments.
Juan was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico on February 6, 1945 and was predeceased by his parents, Sophia Garcia and Juan Cedeno.
Juan, also known as Johnny, Kojak and Juany, was a kind, independent and proud individual who had an infectious smile that managed to capture the hearts of many. It was due to these qualities that made it easy to create such a great support system. Although he would never ask for help, friends volunteered to transport him to and from Boston for treatments that lasted close to a year, especially from Laura, Elaine and Michelle.
Johnny enjoyed spending time with friends listening to music and participating in friendly games of pool at R.G.’s Pub. Over the years, Johnny had been a member of many local pool teams in the River Valley Pool league and has won many championships.
Johnny was most recently employed by Ultimate Windows in Lawrence. He previously worked at other window manufacturers including Coastal Industries in Haverhill.
Johnny will be deeply missed by many including his son Michael Caine of Haverhill; Rachael Cain of Nashua, NH; extended family, Mike and Marcy Morton; grandchildren, Kiersten Cain of Fremont, NH, Sean, Dynasty, Marissa, and William of Nashua, NH and great grandchild, Julian.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of his life to be held on Saturday, September 7 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM at R.G.’s Pub, 242 Winter Street, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Please visit Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook or www.comeaufuneral.com
