Judith A. (Gallant) Kelleher, 79 January 7, 1945 - January 7, 2024

HAVERHILL – Judith A. (Gallant) Kelleher, 79, of Haverhill, passed away on Sunday, January 7 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Judith was born in Haverhill on January 7, 1945 to Albin A. and Mary C. (Lynn) Gallant. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1963; and then went on to study at Northern Essex Community College, Merrimack College, and received her MBA from Rivier University. She valued education deeply and thoroughly enjoyed working as an Accountant at Northern Essex Community College until her retirement. She was an avid fan of all Boston sports teams. She loved going on trips, especially to Foxwoods and Las Vegas, and enjoyed visits with family in Wells, ME. Judith’s weekly visits to Manchester, NH to play with her great nieces Ella and Kennedy and great nephew Jefferson, Jr. brought her great joy. She never did win a game of Candyland.  Judith will be remembered dearly as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and great aunt.

Judith is survived by her brothers and sisters Robert T. and his wife Patricia Gallant, of Wells, ME, Richard A. Gallant, Sr. and his partner Linda Hamel, of Haverhill, Jane M. and her husband Martin Welch, of Haverhill, Mary E. and her husband Ralph DiPinto, of Kingston, NH; and brother-in-law Anthony and his wife Kathleen Kelleher, of Atkinson, NH. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews Christine Fredette, Peter Gallant, Denise Bunn, Richard Gallant, Jr., Mandi Paulsen and Jefferson Welch. Judith was predeceased by the loves of her life, her husband Raymond F. Kelleher, Jr. and her two sons Raymond F. Kelleher, III and John P. Kelleher. Judith’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nursing and health care professionals at both the Portsmouth Regional Hospital and the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill.
