HAVERHILL – Kenneth B. McMahon, 66, husband of Katherine (Nee) McMahon of Haverhill passed away on Saturday, November 23 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Cambridge he was the son of John and Ann (Hicks) McMahon, Jr. Kenneth was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1976, and then went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps; after which he worked for 39 years at Quest Diagnostics. Kenneth had a great sense of humor, enjoyed sports, playing on the Moe Howard Softball team, and doing crosswords, and was a member of Indian Motorcycle Riders Group. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 29 years Katherine S. (Nee) McMahon of Haverhill, children Seth Dion and his wife Chansoria of Medfrod, Patrick McMahon and his fiancé Crystal Desaulniers of Somerville, Derek McMahon of Somerville, Lauren McMahon and her fiancé Joe DeLuise of Somerville, Richard Steene and his wife Stefanie of Arlington, VA, and Nicole Steene (Gonzalez) and her fiancé Ryan Cooney of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his eight grandchildren. Kenneth was predeceased by his infant son Philip McMahon, and his brothers John McMahon, James McMahon, and Thomas McMahon.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 1st from 2PM until 5PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 2 at 10:30AM at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S Main St., Haverhill.
