Haverhill – Lewis E. Fultz, 80, husband of Jane (Thomas) Fultz, passed away July 7, 2022 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late William Greene and Addie (Fultz) Greene. He was raised and educated in Petersburg, VA and at the age of 18 he moved to New York before settling in the Haverhill area. Lewis worked at J & D Plating in Hudson, NH for many years. He loved to listen to music, especially James Brown and his nick name was “Stop the Music”!. Lewis was known as a happy man who loved to dance. He helped anyone in need and enjoyed going to yard sales for treasures. Lewis was recently baptized by his Pastor from Calvary Baptist Church while in the hospital. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife Jane of 60 years, he is survived by his daughter Toni Fultz of Haverhill; sons Joshua Theoharis of Haverhill and Adam Theoharis and his wife Julia of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren Hakeem Hinton Fultz and Jamal Lambert; great grandchildren DeAndre` Fultz, Malachai Fultz, Tony Fultz Lacen, Logan and Taylor Theoharis, Lydiah Fultz, Giovanni Pandelina, Margaret Fultz and Zephaniah Lambert; sisters Shirley Fultz of Haverhill, Gloria Scott of Petersburg, VA and Elaine Greene and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Herbert Fultz and grandson Stanley Wilson.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 12 from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2:00PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 330 Whitney Ave., #420, Holyoke, MA 01040.
