Haverhill – Lorraine M. (Nadeau) Michaud, 76, wife of Richard J. Michaud, Sr., passed away September 6, 2020 at home with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Reno and Sadie (Socia) Nadeau. Raised and educated in Lawrence, she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Lorraine was employed at Malden Mills, Lucent Technologies and the former Building 19 in Haverhill. She loved camping at Angle Pond Grove Campground in Sandown, NH. Lorraine enjoyed crossword puzzles, classic television shows and people watching from her front porch. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Richard J. Michaud, Sr. of Haverhill; her children, Stephen R. Michaud and his wife Shannon E. (Preston) of Haverhill; Richard J. Michaud, Jr. of Haverhill; Timothy Michaud and his wife Julie of Moscow, ME; her sisters, Sandy Carnsdale of NY; Ann Brown and her husband Daniel of Newmarket, NH; grandchildren, Johnathon Preston, Justin, TJ, Cali, Austin and Savannah Michaud and Michael Lurvey, Jr.; great granddaughter, Phoebe Michaud; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Michaud, her siblings, Roger Nadeau, Robert Nadeau, Jeannette Voisine, Diane Nadeau and Linda Nadeau.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, September 13 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2:00PM. Burial will be on Monday, September 14 in Bellevue Cemetery, 170 May Street, Lawrence at 12:00 Noon.
