Haverhill – Louise E. (Stewart) Miller, 68, passed away July 10, 2019 at Wingate Nursing and Rehab in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Louise (Pickering) Stewart. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1968. Louise was employed for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire. As a single parent, she worked hard to provide for her four children. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was very involved with all her grandchildren, taking them on day trips to the mountains and the beach. An avid scrap booker and amateur photographer, she could be found camping in New Hampshire and Maine or spending time at the beach. Louise will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise is survived by her loving children, Shannon M. Newbanks and her husband Devin of York, ME; Stacey Miller of Laconia, NH; Scott Miller of Berwick, ME; her sisters, Barbara Dupont and her husband Henry of Deerfield, NH and Candace Parent of Litchfield, NH; her brothers, Chuck Stewart and his wife Sara of Lebanon, TN and William Stewart and his wife Carol of Salem, NH; thirteen beloved grandchildren and one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Shawn D. Miller and brother in law Joseph Parent.
