Margaret M. (Chaffee) Mack February 5, 1948 - February 25, 2020

Haverhill – Margaret M. (Chaffee) Mack, 72, wife of the late John F. “Popeye” Mack, passed away February 25, 2020 at Whittier Rehab Hospital in Haverhill.

Born in Sanford, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Margaret M. (Gagne) Chaffee. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School. She was employed as a school crossing guard and was a homebody who enjoyed taking care of her family. With her husband John, she traveled to South Carolina every year to visit family. Margaret liked to travel throughout the area to various flea markets and yard sales. She enjoyed gambling, especially with scratch tickets. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margaret is survived by her children, Bonnie C. Mack and John F. Mack Jr., both of Haverhill; grandchildren, Sheldon M. Grandmont and Jennifer L. Emery; her sister, Bonita Mack of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, she was predeceased by her daughter, Wendy Lee Mack and brothers, Benjamin and George Chaffee.
