Marion “Molly” (Meek) Demarais, 85 January 31, 1940 - February 16, 2025

HAVERHILL – Marion “Molly” (Meek) Demarais, 85, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025 at her home in Haverhill.

Marion was born in Newburyport on January 31, 1940 to Alexander and Muriel (Andrews) Meek. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1957 and then went on to earn her Associates Degree from NECCO. Marion worked in administration for the Haverhill Public School system for many years until her retirement. She was also the former Miss Haverhill, and a very active coach of the Haverhill Girls Softball League. Marion was the biggest John Denver fan and enjoyed spending time going to the beach. The beach was her favorite spot to be in the summer.

Marion will be remembered dearly as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She is survived by her son Kevin Demarais and his wife Terry of Haverhill, and daughters Lisa Demarais of Norwood, Stephanie Demarais of Haverhill, and Allison DeCicco and her husband Michael of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her sister Marilyn Meek, many special nieces and nephews, and her grandchildren DJ and Mollie McClure, Alex and Sydney Demarais and Felicya and Olivia DeCicco.
