Date of Funeral

September 12, 2022

Marisol Velez, 48, of Haverhill, went to be with her Lord, on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Marisol was born in Haverhill on May 6, 1974 and was the daughter of Raul Montanez and Carmen M. Ramirez.

Marisol was raised in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School. After high school she got married and moved to Lawrence and later Pennsylvania and Florida. She was an active member of her church community and loved being involved in church activities. She enjoyed helping others within the church. She loved spending time with her children and family and especially on holidays. She was very well loved by all and will be missed. One of Marisol’s passions was to create beautiful handmade crafts that she would gift to friends and family during the holidays.  She had a natural creative flare for arts, crafts, make-up and nails.  She at times would showcase her talent on her instagram page “marisbeauty4u.”  Even though she did not have technical training she exhibited an amazing talent. She always freely and enthusiastically would share her knowledge and creativity with the goal of making another feel loved and valued.

Aside from her parents, Marisol was the loving mother of Safiro M. Velez of TX., and Querube Velez and her significant other, Andrew, of CO. She was the sister of Jose Montanez and his significant other, Tatiana, of NJ., Anita Echevaria and her husband, Pedrinho Omar, of RI., Chantel Montanez of TX., and the late Leonardo Montanez. She was the cherished granddaughter of Miguelina Ramirez. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday night from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
