    Doug,
I have vivid memories of Matthew, spending two years with him in school when he was younger. (3rd and 4th grade). You were such a support as Matthew worked hard to overcome some challenges he was met with early in life. I’ll never forget when he revisited me when he graduated 8th grade and gave me a huge hug! He was so sweet with that visit and I wished him well moving forward. He told me that day that he loved the book “Where The Red Fern Grows” and that he had read it many times over after we had read it as a class in 4th grade. I will keep his picture on my Memorial Mantel with those of loved ones I have lost and I will pray for you. I know Matthew’s soul is in a perfect place of peace and you will be reunited with him someday.
