Haverhill – Mercedes Marmol Hernandez, 46, wife of Juan Hernandez, passed away August 27, 2020 at Beth Israel Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born in Bonao, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Genaro Marmol and Edita Mejia. She was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and graduated from high school and attended college there. Mercedes came to the United States in December of 2012 with her family. She was employed at Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods in Haverhill as a laborer. Mercedes loved traveling throughout the New England area and back to the Dominican Republic to visit family and friends. She enjoyed karaoke and was known for her great cooking. A devoted wife and mother, she will be so missed by all her family and friends.
Mercedes is survived by her loving husband Juan Hernandez of Haverhill; her mother Edita Mejia of the Netherlands; her children, Nadia Luna-Marmol, Miguel Jose Luna-Marmol and Lisbeth Luna-Marmol, all of Haverhill; her granddaughter, Gabriella Valerio- Luna; and her brother Marcel Tschin of the Netherlands.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, August 30 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
