Michael D. Burchell March 1, 1962 - February 28, 2019

Haverhill – On Thursday, February 28, 2019, Michael Burchell, loving father of Michelle Burchell, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56.

Born March 1, 1962 Michael was raised in Braintree, MA and Bradford, MA and lived in Haverhill, MA most of his life.   He worked as a carpenter and was also skilled in a variety of trades including rod iron welding.  Michael was a long-time member of the Crescent Yacht Club where he also worked as a bartender for many years.  He loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy every evening with his cat on his lap.  He was also a huge fan of Sudoku puzzles.

Michael was predeceased by his father, John M. Burchell Sr., his mother, Joan M. (Sullivan) Burchell, and his brother John (Jackie) M. Burchell Jr. He is survived by his ex-wife Dorothy McCusker, his daughter, Michelle Burchell, his grandson Jaden and his sisters Audrey Burchell and her partner Eric, Patricia McHugh and her husband Patrick, and Susan Vissage and her husband Michael.  He is also survived by many cousins.
