Haverhill – Michael W. Souther, Jr., 39, husband of Fawn M. (Whitehouse) Souther, passed away November 20, 2021 at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Newburyport, he was the son of Cynthia J. (LaValley) Freeman of Haverhill and the late Michael W. Souther, Sr. and stepson of the late David Freeman. Raised in Haverhill, he attended Whittier Regional Vocational Tech. He was an auto body technician for the past nine years at Towne Auto Body in No. Andover. He enjoyed all of the New England sports teams during the playoffs. Michael loved grilling and having cookouts with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, especially local ponds and the Merrimack River for stripers. Known for his great sense of humor, he loved his family, hanging out with them and enjoyed the peacefulness of his home. Michael will be sorely missed by all his family, friends and everyone who loved him.

Michael is survived by his wife, Fawn M. (Whitehouse) Souther of Haverhill; his son, Michael W. Souther, III of Haverhill; his mother Cynthia J. (LaValley) Freeman; his brothers, Travis C. Souther of Haverhill and Thomas “TJ” Souther of Pelham, NH; and sister Stephanie Jutras of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews.
