Miguel Angel DeJesus Vega, 57, of Chelsea died on Monday, August 15, 2022 at his residence.
Miguel was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico on April 13, 1965 and was the son of Merida Vega Ortiz and the late Miguel Angel DeJesus.
Miguel was raised in Puerto Rico and later made a home for himself in Chelsea, MA. Miguel was a self-employed woodworker and carpenter. He enjoyed the outdoors, sports and carpentry. He always liked to help others and will be remembered by his humor and unique laugh. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Miguel was the loving partner of the late Martha L. Santana. He was the loving father of Josean DeJesus and his significant other Raizza Cosme of Orlando FL., Jomael DeJesus of Chelsea, Yan DeJesus of Lajas, Puerto Rico, Marlain DeJesus and her fiancé Juan Garcia of Haverhill, Deviannette DeJesus of Belleville, NJ. He was the brother of Maribel Esteraz Vega of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and the late Justo Angel Esteraz. He was the cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Julian and Anaiah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and those that knew him.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours from 4-7pm on Sunday. A gathering at The Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. at 10am on Monday to proceed to the Linwood Cemetery, Mill St., Haverhill.
