Noreen Patricia Bailey, 58 October 8, 1965 - October 26, 2023

BRADFORD, MA – The gracious and courageous life of Noreen Patricia Bailey was lost to cancer on October 26, 2023.  Born on October 8, 1965, she was the daughter of Charles “Biff” and Maureen Bailey.  She resided throughout her life at the original family home in Bradford.

Noreen “Beana” Bailey worked briefly as a hairstylist at her mother’s Andover salon before obtaining her accounting degree from Fitchburg State University.  During her 27 year career with the Internal Revenue Service, and due to her diligence and no-nonsense attitude, she achieved a managerial position.

An accomplished pool player, Noreen took on many challenges, including semi-pro players.  She was a member and past president of Quota Club International.  At home, she was a gifted gardener as well as a splendid cook.  Aside from her outstanding meals, the highlight of the many parties she hosted was her Grinch decorated Christmas tree.

Noreen, along with her boyfriend Kevin Phaneuf and their dog Bandit, vacationed regularly at campsites in New Hampshire, where they enjoyed meeting all kinds of people.  Off season, she and Kevin could be found anywhere within view of a Keno game screen.  Kevin was a loving and devoted caretaker and confidant during Noreen’s illness this past year.

Noreen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael Bailey.  She is survived by her companion Kevin Phaneuf and his family, Jeanne Phaneuf and Jared Petrowski, Sasha Phaneuf, Kelsa and Tom York, and Kyle and Diana Phaneuf, and his 11 grandchildren; her brother Charles “Chip” Bailey and his wife Maura, and several cousins, her nephews and nieces Dylan Bailey and his fiancé Alix, Charles Bailey III, Madison and Kyrsten, John Bailey, Dallas Bailey and Yvonne Dean-Bailey.
