HAVERHILL, MA – Phyllis Marie (Dunn) Reed, 74, died on Sunday, June 25 at Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill.
Phyllis was born on January 9, 1949 in Hartford, CT to Richard and Pauline (Claycomb) Dunn. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and went on to study at the Henry School of Hair Design. Phyllis lived in Newbury, Amesbury and Rowley, and finally settled in Haverhill for the past 30 years. She was the owner and operator of Distinctive Designs Hair Salon. She was always gardening in her yard and loved gardening while at Ivy Hill. Phyllis enjoyed driving to Florida and horseback riding; she loved her dog Spike and spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her two sons William Basler and Michael Dunn, and her sister Maureen Parsons. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Dunn and her sister Cheryl Ricker.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Thursday, June 29 from 4PM until 6:30PM, followed by a funeral home chapel service at 6:30PM at the Kevin B.
