BRADFORD – Roland A. Fortin, 83, of Bradford, MA passed away peacefully on Monday April 29th at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA. He was the loving partner of Sherry Vance of Bradford, MA.
Born in Salem, MA, he was the son of Adrien and Angelina (Marquis) Fortin of Lawrence. He worked for Verizon for 26 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and long rides in New Hampshire and Maine.
In addition to his partner Sherry, he leaves six children, Elaine Haidul & her husband Richard of Gilford, NH, Patricia Faragi of Bridgton, ME, Lisa McLeod and her husband Jeff of Rochester, NH, Barry Fortin of Pawcatuck, CT, Janice Fortin of Raymond, NH, Roland J. Fortin and his wife Kristine of Boxford, MA, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Robert G. Fortin of Wells, ME, and Raymond Fortin of Berlin, NH, one sister Cecile Pitcock of Atoka, TN and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Joan R. Fortin, sister Yvette Laprade, brothers, Roger P. Fortin and Richard A. Fortin
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May 2, from 4PM until 6PM followed by a funeral home chapel service at 6PM at the Kevin B.
