GROVELAND – Ruth E. (Mears) Bogrett, 74, of Groveland passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.
Born in Haverhill, Ruth was a graduate of Pentucket High School, Class of 1969 and then went on to work for many years locally at Allen Shoe and most recently at the Hale Hospital in Haverhill. Ruth was active in her community as a member of the Groveland chapter of the Rainbow Girls. She enjoyed spending time roller skating, dancing, eating fried clams, and spending time at the beach. She loved Elvis. Most of all Ruth enjoyed cooking and family gatherings over the holidays and will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother by those she leaves behind.
Ruth is survived by her children Pamela Bogrett of Groveland, Laurie Bogrett of Bradford and Richard J. Bogrett and his wife Alison of Bradford. She also leaves behind brother Henry Mears of California and sisters Patricia Ambrose and her husband Kevin of Haverhill, Alice and her husband William Longworth and Helen Shaddack; grandchildren Jessica Cayer and Samantha Cayer and niece Kristen (Mears) Hargraves, Ruth was preceded in death by her brother Robert Mears and her sister Gail Mears.
